Deleting a Track, Leaving a Group
Both remove something, and they remove different things. Here is exactly what each one does.
Deleting a track
The track goes and the feedback on it goes with it, whether or not the session has happened yet. None of it can be recovered.
If anyone has commented, save the thread first — Saving Your Feedback.
You can't delete during a live session
While a session is running the playlist is being played, so deleting from under it is not offered. The option is back once the session ends.
Choosing who can still hear a track
Deleting is not the only option. Once a session has ended you can set who can still play your track from its row — only you, the people who were at the live session, or the group. It starts out following whatever the session's own recap setting says, so you only have to touch it if you want something different for that track.
If what you want is "nobody else hears this any more" but you still want your feedback, set it to only you rather than deleting.
Leaving a group
Leaving removes you from the group. It doesn't erase the group's history.
What stays:
- Comments you wrote on other people's tracks, still under your name.
- Your attendance history.
What goes:
- Every track you submitted to that group, and the feedback on it. None of it can be recovered, so save anything you want to keep before you go.
- Your place in the group's Discord server, if the group has that switched on. You'll be told before you confirm when it applies.
If you never submitted a track, leaving costs you nothing — rejoin and you are back where you were, in the role you left with.
